What is up with this Team??!!

This team is very unpredictable.  It blows big leads to teams it should beat then goes out there tonight and doubles up in the 4th Quarter on arguably the best team in the NBA.  They never played well down the stretch until this game.  After dropping 2 in a row and looking like a team that might slip into the lower tier of the Eastern Conference again, they resurrect thoughts of being a possible playoff team.

This team beats Boston, Houston and the Lakers but can’t beat Charlotte and blows a 26 point lead against the 76ers.

They took care of the ball giving up only 13 turnovers.  They had great ball movement dishing out 27 total assists.  And they rebounded the ball well having a 50-41 edge over LA.  That is how you take care of business while getting out shot percentage wise.

Next Episode:

Is This a building block on which to tryo to get through this tough stretch for the Pacers or just another fluke win.

Are the Pacers still a playoff team?

Jeff Foster’s words summing up this team perfectly

Well you know I have to comment after the Knicks/Pacers game. I was there in person, about 9 rows from the baseline on the Pacers’ side of the court. I made Knicks fans a little angry by cheering for the other team, but I gotta show my colors. And I met Stacy Paetz AND got a picture with her. She is beautiful. The game was awesome, but the team is still a work in process. I doubt we will make any changes, except if we trade Tinsley. The players just need time to develop. Roy and Brandon are well on their way to becoming solid contributors to our team. Roy definitely needs more playing time. Granger looks like he’s wearing down, but the others are stepping up. All in all, I am hopeful that our team will eventually be top contenders in the future, but for now, we are still climbing the ladder.

Jon!!! Where are you?! Just a quick thought. The two players I think Larry Bird will target (or should) are Carlos Boozer & Jamaal Crawford. I think Crawford is plausible because of his situation and price tag. Boozer is more of a long shot, but a good long shot. I guess we’ll have to part with Murphy to acquire Boozer. Crawford we could probably sign.
Hope things are well with you Jon.
